About the Developer

| Renante D. Layson

ERP SYSTEM PHILIPPINES (EBT)

By 2009, he re-designed the solution into a standard ERP package (v5) covering purchasing, sales, inventory, banking, and financials. It featured a built-in Software Development Kit (SDK), enabling users to generate reports and apply customizations—including tables, fields, forms, alerts, tasks, and programs—directly within the runtime environment, without access to the core source code. This version was released under Green Pepper Software, Inc. and later distributed by CLSE Software Inc. and 1Document Corporation, serving both private businesses and local government units. It was also adopted by Smartbooks Philippines, which used the platform to provide ERP subscription services to small and medium-sized enterprises.

In 2024, he upgraded the product with modern technologies, adding two-factor authentication, OAuth2, WebRTC, and chatbot functionality. The enhancements also introduced user-defined lists, charts, and dashboards, along with mobile browser compatibility. This version is currently distributed by Extreme Business Solutions, Inc., with Infocycle Solutions, Inc. serving as its marketing and implementation partner.

In 1993, software developer Renante Layson began creating tools designed to streamline programming across multiple languages. His work spanned Clipper on MS-DOS, Delphi, Progress 4GL, and PowerBuilder on Windows, Java on Android, as well as C#.Net and PHP for web applications. These tools were applied to build real-world solutions, including a customized payroll system for Datamag System in 1995, a stock brokering system for AIT Technology Inc. and Patimas Computers Bhd. in Malaysia (1995–2000), and ERP solutions for textile, garment, and plastic extrusion manufacturing under Fast Track Solution Sdn Bhd. in Malaysia (2000–2006).

In 2006, he was hired by FastTrack Solutions, Inc. (Philippines), a SAP Platinum Partner, to develop a web-based front-end system for a retail and financing company. The system was deployed in every branch, designed for 24/7 uptime, and equipped with automatic synchronization to the head office via the internet—a necessity in the Philippines, where unstable connections and typhoons could disrupt service for days or even weeks. It was built to integrate seamlessly with SAP Business One and SAP A1 as backend systems.
